Maison Martin Margiela Fall 2006 cowhide pumps and cabaret bra

one of the last Martin collections, i remember trying on the leather jacket made out of a car seat, it was white and i found it bizarre and genius to have garments made out of pre-existing objects…
Martin never ceases to amaze me…
i just watched Martin in His Own Words and let me tell you, as a long time lover of the Maison, i was enticed to hear from him how it all came together, to know what i know its been HOURS of stalking researching and digging information and put together a somewhat coherent idea of what this all means but it was comforting to know how kind and naive his words are… it was a lovely experience!
