#12DAYSOFCHRISTMAS : DAY 2 - Not a girl, not yet a woman

If i could tell something to my dear 12-ish thru 16-ish self, it would be TAKE IT SLOW!
I was so eager to do everything fast-forward! and all i wish is that i had enjoyed the ride.
Being in that teenage angst wanting to fit in on the outside and not inside, accepting myself…
Feeling super uncomfortable in my own skin yet not taking good care of it, i believe that's a good base for self-love.
Keeping the heart grounded and respecting the body you live in.
In the end we all want to feel good, and that's how you look good…

Si pudiera decirle algo a mi querida yo de los 12-16 masomenos sería PACIENCIA!
Tenia tanta prisa por crecer, que me hubiera gustado disfrutar mas esos momentos.
Todos sabemos lo que es esa ansia adolescente de encajar afuera pero no adentro, aceptándonos…
Estar super incomoda en mi propia piel y no cuidándola como debería,
creo que eso es una base importantísima para el amor propio;
Manteniendo el corazón centrado y respetando el cuerpo en el que vives.
Al final todo lo que queremos es sentirnos bien, para poder vernos mejor…

Back in the days, i remember how excited i was anytime i received a little treat from Clinique…
My mom and aunts would get me the trial kits so that i started to 'treat-yo-self' and it worked.
so maybe, if you know someone who is in that awkward stage of their life when the outside world is harsh and cruel, help them feel good and appreciate their inside world Ü

Hace un par de ayeres, recuerdo lo mucho que me emocionaba recibir algún algo de Clinique…
Mi mama y mis tías me daban paquetitos con minis para que empezara a cuidar de mi, funciono.
Así que quizás, si sabes de alguien en esa etapa incomoda de su vida cuando el mundo afuera es
