rope it up

summer is officially here and i can't wait for a much needed little get away to the beach.
in the mean time, i've opted to ease myself into the more easy-breezy summer key pieces.
the little black dress that i adore and a pair of flat gladiators.
the thing is that the details is what makes it or breaks it for me;
the dress with the subtle sheer back and the rope ties of the sandals makes it look polished yet casual.

el verano ya es oficial y me urge una muy necesitada escapada a algún destino arenoso con mucho SPF.
pero de mientras, he estado viviendo en piezas clave para un verano fácil y ligero.
el vestidito negro que amo y un par de sandalias romanas de piso.
lo que hace que todo sea mas pulido pero aun casual son los detalles;
la espalda con ese panel sutil transparente y las tiras de laso de las sandalias. muy.

as much as i love heels, i find it hard to fancy a good pair of flats…
i guess it's always due to the fact that they can lack attention to detail.
the gladiators are in trend, that's for sure, but the design in these with the rope
[somewhat reminiscent of shibari] sealed the deal for me. proudly made in Mexico.
i'm sensing a love affair with local brands and i'm loving it!

mi amor por los tacones es definitivo, y por eso me es dificil enamorarme de un par de piso…
creo que es porque la mayoria le falta ese atención al detalle.
las gladiadoras estan en tendencia, eso es obvio, pero el diseño de estas con la cuerda
[un tanto evocador al shibari] me enamoraron. hechas en Mexico! son de Calzado Andrea.
amo el traerlas puestas, que me pregunten y poder decirles de donde son!
estoy cada vez mas disfrutando las marcas locales y me encanta!
