one should not judge a book by its cover, or a piece of clothing by it's tag…
but we all do. we are material beings in a material world [the Madonna one applies too,
but i mean it as we have a physical body… though, we shall remind we have a soul too.]
the reason i began to be so into art in the shape of fashion garments, was because i needed it.
i was always feeling lost in detail, construction and concept…
all the beautiful words that justify the shape and make the final product a mere excuse,
because yes! what matters is what lies within.
the process and the conversation that is created between the consumer and the piece…
we all deal with demons, fears and pain, life is not perfect.
but finding that special something that makes you experiment with imperfection and your own flaws is beauty.

uno no debería juzgar un libro por su cubierta, o una prenda por su etiqueta…
pero lo hacemos. somos seres materiales en un mundo material [el de Madonna también aplica,
pero me refiero a que tenemos un cuerpo físico… aunque debemos recordar que también un alma.]
la razón por la cual me enamoré de el arte en forma de prendas de moda, fue por qué lo necesitaba.
siempre me perdía en los detalles, la construcción y el concepto…
todas las palabras bonitas que justificaban la forma y hacen al producto final una mera excusa,
porque si! lo que importa es lo que no se ve.
el proceso y la conversación que se crea entre el usuario y la pieza…
todos lidiamos con demonios, miedos y dolor, la vida no es perfecta.
pero encontrar ese algo especial que te hace experimentar con la imperfección y tus propios defectos es hermoso.

and that's how i and why fell for those four stitches, the MMM's…
always on the quest for sharp perfection, symmetry, clinic control, and all that jazz;
luckily they don't move to those rhythms… and it's ok.
maybe you don't need to go through all of this experimentation to understand who you want to be
[i still haven't figured it out yet, but i'm happy with who i am today],
but this words are here to ease the confusion and the pain…

y así es como y porque me enamore de esas cuatro costuritas, las MMM's…
siempre en la búsqueda de una perfección precisa, simetría, control clínico, y todas esas danzas;
por suerte ellos no se mueven a ese compás… y esta bien.
la verdad no necesitan todos pasar por esta experimentación para entender quien quieren ser
[ni yo se todavía, pero estoy feliz con quien soy hoy],
pero estas palabras estan aquí para aliviar confusiones y dolores…
