perfect imperfections…

as a somewhat perfectionist, finding beauty in flaws means a progress in life has been made…
back in Paris, [i have mentioned this before] one lonely day i came to realize that when you seek
perfection the way you have it idealized, will only lead you to frustration.
this necklace reminded me of that; i once read about Amsterdam's history and they mentioned that
they had to learn how to coexist with the canal's flow and find their way to empower them both,
instead of blocking their current and directing it to another direction…

como una perfeccionista, encontrar la belleza en las fallas significa que algún progreso en la vida se ha hecho…
cuando estaba en Paris, [ya lo he contado] un día en soledad extrema me di cuenta que cuando buscas
la perfección de la manera que la haz idealizado, solo te llevara a la frustración.
este collar me recordó que; cuando leí de Amsterdam y su historia mencionaban que tuvieron que
aprender a coexistir con el flujo del agua y encontrar una manera de funcionar para bien todos,
en lugar de bloquear la corriente y forzarla a otra dirección…

 

wearing this sweater brought back tons of memories from my adventures with Izabella in Paris
