what happens during this holidays is that everybody finds it socially acceptable to dress like they never dare to…
unfortunately, one that dresses quite peculiar year round, is questioned if your outfit is a costume;
i think they felt confused when the answer is no, this is my go to staples…

lo que sucede en estas épocas de fiesta es que todos encuentran socialmente aceptable vestirse
[o desvestirse] de la manera que jamas se atreverán…
desafortunadamente, uno que viste de manera peculiar todo el año, es preguntado si tu conjunto es un disfraz;
creo que se confunden al escuchar que no, son mis básicos diarios…

 

i guess that's what makes fashion [or anti-fashion, i don't know which is which anymore]

so fun, its an experiment… even if it used to reflect the social context of the person,

i believe it's not so anymore; we are interwebed and the lines are blurred.

now it's all about the personality showing thru your outfits…

and i guess we all fall into the copycat category.

es un experimento… aunque solía reflejar el contexto social de la persona,

ya no lo es así; estamos tan entrelazados que las lineas se han difuminado.

y creo que caemos en la categoria de imitadores.
