there is something i feel the need to dish.
it must come as no surprise that the times we live in are tough, independently if its the first or a third world country… the people who are around their 50's blame the youth, describe us as ungrateful, and ambitious; and i quite agree…
the sense of appreciation for what we are, have and own is non-existent, the idea of disposability and consumerism is extreme… fixing things? why, if we can get a better, newer, faster and shinier replacement for less money, care and effort…
it seems that the only thing we cherish is our ego and the momentary bliss of online success…

hay algo que siento la necesidad de expresar.
no debe de ser sorpresa el hecho de que los tiempos en los que vivimos son difíciles, independientemente de si vives en un pais primer o tercermundista… la gente que tiene alrededor de 50 culpan a la juventud, nos describen como mal agradecidos y ambiciosos; y creo que tienen la razón…
el sentido de apreciación por lo que somos, tenemos y poseemos es inexistente, la idea de desechabilidad y consumismo es extremo… arreglar algo? para que, si podemos conseguir algo mejor, nuevo, brillante y mas rapido por menos dinero, cuidado y esfuerzo…
parece ser que lo unico que valoramos es nuestro ego y la dicha efímera de la popularidad virtual…

 

and it might seem well-worn but, the things that really matter are things that are gifts from nature…

as a hippy flower eater [yes, vegan and hipster if you might, admitting it is quite hard…] i happened to learn the beauty of it all, the experiences, the flavors, the people and yes, my dog child.

but as i was born in the 90's, i cant help it but to love shiny things and the excitement novelty brings…

im damned.

y claro que es trillado pero las cosas que de verdad importan son cosas tan simples que nos regala la naturaleza… y como hippy come-flores [si, vegana y hipster al parecer, admitir esto es muy difícil…] he aprendido a disfrutar la belleza de todo esto; las experiencias, los sabores, la gente y si, a mi hija-perro.

pero al haber nacido en los 90's, no puedo evitar amar todo lo brilloso y la emoción que la novedad regala… estoy jodida.
