Down to earth

if being honest and not sounding snobbish was possible i would share my opinion more often…
but as i realized people's perception will vary no matter how much i try to get my point across, i will rant about Marant and her filles…
it might be the fact that i grew up surrounded by cowboy/girl boot's everywhere i turned to [the best ones are made here apparently…] and i come from both families who where countryside farmers, so this style makes no impression in me no matter how hard designers try to reinterpret the garments…
but as i learned, living in the old world, this easiness and tomboyish silhouettes make quite an statement… it's the epitome of careless chic if you place it in a structured and architectural scenery, the meeting of both worlds; but in terms of design, nothing new. But in terms of sales success, it is pure brilliance! Give the people the perfect excuse to live the american dream while selling the idea of Parisian chic.

si ser honesta y no sonar mal vibrosa fuera posible, compartiria mi opinion mas seguido…
pero como me he dado cuenta la percepción de las personas variará no importa cuanto intente explicarme, hoy me dejare llevar con Marant y su séquito de fieles seguidoras…
puede influenciar el hecho de que crecí rodeada de botas vaqueras [según esto aqui se hacen las mejores…] y vengo de familias de rancho, así que este estilo no me causa una gran impresión no importa cuanto intenten los diseñadores en reinterpretar las prendas [a excepción de las botas de MMM]
pero he podido aprender que al vivir en el viejo mundo, este estilo desenfadado y siluetas un tanto masculinas hacen un verdadero manifiesto… es la cumbre de lo chic descuidado si lo colocas en un escenario arquitectónico y estructurado, el encuentro de los dos mundos; pero en términos de diseño, nada nuevo. Sin embargo, en éxito de ventas, es meramente un genio! Dale a la gente la excusa perfecta de vivir el sueño americano mientras les vendes la idea de lo chic parisino.

by the way, i need to emphasize this ring…

as i could not get my hands on the re-edition pieces from MMM x HM i had to become creative.

used the source of inspiration and removed the keyring from a souvenir thing and turned it my ring…

so Maison Martin Margiela, i guess you can use this and make it your thing.

por cierto, necesito poner énfasis en este anillo…

como no pude conseguir las piezas de reedición de MMM para HM me vi en la necesidad de poner mi ardilla creativa en marcha.

use la fuente de inspiración y removi el llavero de un recuerdito turistero y lo hice mi anillo…

así que por favor Maison Martin Margiela, creo que hice mi tarea y pueden usar esta idea y sacarla al mercado… de nada.
