Onto the food, places... and stuff i got @ New York...

the macbar... we bumped into this place so randomly, i already read about it but we weren't looking for it... so i had to go in to get me a plastic container... so i bought the cheeseburger... sooo goood... but my friends didn't want annything from there... so i took it to go... and we went to Dean & Deluca... and i ate my mac&cheeseburger there... probably the most rude thing i've done in my whole life... hahahaha so many people eating fancy stuff and there i was eating from a big yellow plastic container that smelled like foot so bad... hehehe i felt naughty...

And because it was design week... we got to the launch of the 111 navy chair by emeco for cocacola... great amazing experience... and we are on the facebook page... the official page (but please dont go there... we are not that much upbeat... we were tired...) i loved the gift bag... with Charles Eames quote "take your pleasure seriously" sooo true i mean if design is your passion... do it for real, work for it...
the coasters were made out of recicled material... corn something...
the straw is made of paper... how cute...

SHAKE SHACK... the best burgers ever!!! and i fell completely in love  because they use wind energy and the oil they have as waste they reuse it for energy... and the materials of the place are "second use" and the ingredients are local...

at Kidrobot i got this for my sister... at first i wasn't very fond with this whole bling bling vibe... but yesterday while i took this photos... i liked it so badly... ohh well...

the oh-not-so-sad/bad-storie-about-my-diamond-ring... it was completely flawless... but once i got on my plane back to Mexico... i realized it had cracked, maybe because the pressure idk... i love the result but i am scared of it tearing down in little pieces... i mean when i was @ the Moma store i knew i wanted to get 2... in case i lost one... well i never listened...

Ohhh Maison Martin Margiela... i got this @ the Cooper-Hewitt museum... and the next day we went to the boutique and i was scared of the fact that they may have them cheaper... but they had not got them yet... it was till next week when they were throwing a party for the launch of the home decor line... i was so exited and proud of my acquisition ...

and because i have a thing for Matrioshkas... i know that the main importance of them is the graphics... the fact that they are handpainted... but i like them just like that... quiet... which is so Margiela, creating that conflict in your mind when he creates anything... so obvious sometimes and i mean i just love the whole INCOGNITO concept... faceless, without an identity but full of meaning... i wonder what goes through his mind when designing... i mean his process...
and this little measuring cups that i got at Urban Outfitters... they are so cute, i am planing on staring a Matrioshkas collection... but like different...

AND!!! i got myself one of the majorly important pieces of design for me... THE Alvar Aalto VASE!!! it's one of the pieces that got me so into design... and it's mine?!
bought it at Moma... the bag is made out of terraskin... a material made out of stone minerals and paperfree... how cool and innovative is that?!!!

and the girl @ MMM Male store gave me the shopping bag... fabric plastic bag...
